Passive Fixation Low-Profile Pacing Lead

The Petite™ leads are low profile (4.8F lead body diameter) implantable endocardial pacing leads which are manufactured using a new proprietary hexafilar coil for permanent stimulation of the ventricle (straight model) or the atrium (J model).

Features

One of the Thinnest Bipolar Leads:
With a lead body size of only 4.8F, the PETITE™ lead is one of the thinnest bipolar endocardial pacing leads available today. Uniquely designed fixation tines for safe and easy fixation, allow a minimum introducer size of 7F for 1 lead or 10F for 2 leads.

Parallel Wound Conductor Coil Design:

The PETITE™ lead uses a proprietary parallel wound hexafilar conductor coil in which each filar is insulated. The hexafilar coil is structured with two conductors connected to the anode and two conductors connected to the cathode. For additional safety, each set of conductors is separated by a passive, non-electrically active, filar. This construction allows for a thinner lead body in comparison to the coaxial bipolar conductor design and maximum reliability compared to the two filar coated wire conductor design (Patent Pending).

Polyurethane 90A Insulation:
For over 15 years, Oscor has been using Polyurethane 90A for its polyurethane permanent pacing leads. Used with a proprietary manufacturing process, Polyurethane 90A proves to be (like Silicone) highly reliable for long term implantation.
