ZY
Active Fixation Pacing Lead System
The ZY is a low profile implantable bipolar extendable/retractable
screw-in permanent pacing lead for stimulation of either the atrium (preformed
J model) or the ventricle (straight model). All ZY leads are supplied with
a screwdriver stylet which is used to extend/retract the fixation helix in
only 2-3 turns. The helix is not electrically active. The ZY is available
in either Polyurethane (Pellethane 90A) or Silicone outer insulation.
Features
Low Profile:
The ZY series feature a lead body in either Polyurethane (6.7 F) or Silicone
(7.2 F) outer insulation, in either a preformed J version (atrial placement)
or a straight version (ventricular placement).
Active
Fixation:
A unique tapered screwdriver stylet allows the fixation screw to be extended
or retracted in only 2-3 turns.
Flexible
Tip and Screw Design:
The distal portion between the tip electrode (cathode) and the ring electrode
(anode) is highly flexible to prevent perforation of the myocardium. The helix
(screw) is sharpened by using a proprietary process, which allows easy fixation
in the myocardium.
Improved
Sensing:
Short bipolar electrode spacing (11 mm) for improved sensing
Quadrifilar
Conductor Coil:
Used in Oscor permanent pacing leads for over 20 years, the ZY-R conductors
use a coaxial quadrifilar coil design providing maximum flexibility with proven
long-term reliability.

For Placement
of the Lead in the Atrium or Ventricle:
The lead is fixated in the ventricle by turning the inserted straight screwdriver
stylet 2-3 turns. The lead is fixated in the atrium by turning the lead over
the preformed J shape positioning stylet (silicone version only).
Quadrifilar
Conductor Coil:
Like all Oscor permanent pacing leads, the KY conductors use a quadrifilar
coil design providing maximum flexibility with long term reliability.
Flexible

Oscor offers one of the broadest line of permanent implantable pacing leads for every patient's pacing needs and every physician's preference. Oscor's portfolio includes a variety of insulation types, fixation methods and delivery tools. Our pioneering efforts led to the first quadrifilar coil design in pacing leads for increased reliability. Over ten years ago Oscor offered the first line of retractable screw-in leads and today offers three lines of active fixation mechanism (connector pin fixation activation, screwdriver stylet direct drive and fixed screw fixation) and several low profile passive fixation tined pacing lead systems.

PY
Active Fixation Pacing Lead System
The PY series represent Oscor’s fifth generation of implantable bipolar extendable/retractable screw-in permanent pacing leads for stimulation of either the atrium or the ventricle. The electrically active fixation screw can be extended or retracted by turning the connector pin. The lead tip contains an anti-chattering mechanism for steady pacing and sensing contact. The PY is available in a silicone outer insulation and is packaged with both straight and preformed J-shape stylets.
PY-PSBV
The PY series represent Oscor’s fifth generation of implantable bipolar
extendable/retractable screw-in permanent pacing leads for stimulation of
either the atrium or the ventricle.
Placement
of the Lead in either the Atrium or Ventricle:
Since the fixation screw is activated through the turnable connector pin,
the PY pacing lead series can be implanted either in the atrium or ventricle
by choosing either a preformed J-shape or straight stylet, respectively.
Flexible Tip and Screw Design:
The distal portion between the tip electrode (cathode) and the ring electrode
(anode) is highly flexible to prevent perforation of the myocardium. The helix
(screw) is sharpened using a proprietary process, which allows easy fixation
in the myocardium.
Electrical
Active Tip and Screw:
The PY lead features an electrically active tip and screw. When the screw
is retracted, the tip allows mapping of the myocardium before implanting the
lead. When the screw is extended, the screw and tip provide enough active
surface area and penetration to sense and pace even in difficult placement
situations.
Improved
Sensing:
Short bipolar electrode spacing (11 mm) for improved sensing
Quadrifilar
Conductor Coil:
Used in Oscor’s permanent pacing leads for over 20 years, the PY conductors
use a quadrifilar coil design providing maximum flexibility with proven long-term
reliability.
Low Profile:
The PY offers a low lead body profile of only 7.2 F.

The MP lead is a permanent implantable epicardial pacing lead for stimulation of the myocardium, where an endocardial approach is not recommended. The MP lead series can only be used during open-heart surgery and is available in unipolar and bipolar versions. The uniquely designed curved thoracic needle makes an easy epicardial placement of the lead possible. To prevent dislodgement, the silicone butterfly flanges located at each distal lead tip may be sutured-on epicardially. The MP lead is available in lengths ranging from 35cm up to 52cm.

MP-BV
Bipolar Bifurcated Version

information,
please contact Oscor at 1-800-726-7267
Features
Minimal
traumatic effects:
Compared to the epicardial fixed screw design, the thoracic suture-on needle
design allows maximum flexibility and safety in epicardial fixation with minimal
traumatic side effects.
Bipolar:
The bifurcated bipolar MP lead versions allow flexible placement of each electrode
in the myocardium.
Quadrifilar
Conductor Coil:
Like all Oscor permanent pacing leads, the MP conductors use a quadrifilar
coil design providing maximum flexibility with long term reliability.

Passive Fixation Low-Profile Pacing Lead
The Petite™ leads are low profile (4.8F lead body diameter) implantable endocardial pacing leads which are manufactured using a new proprietary hexafilar coil for permanent stimulation of the ventricle (straight model) or the atrium (J model).
Features
One of
the Thinnest Bipolar Leads:
With a lead body size of only 4.8F, the PETITE™ lead is one of the thinnest
bipolar endocardial pacing leads available today. Uniquely designed fixation
tines for safe and easy fixation, allow a minimum introducer size of 7F for
1 lead or 10F for 2 leads.
Parallel Wound Conductor Coil Design:
The PETITE™ lead uses a proprietary parallel wound hexafilar conductor
coil in which each filar is insulated. The hexafilar coil is structured with
two conductors connected to the anode and two conductors connected to the
cathode. For additional safety, each set of conductors is separated by a passive,
non-electrically active, filar. This construction allows for a thinner lead
body in comparison to the coaxial bipolar conductor design and maximum reliability
compared to the two filar coated wire conductor design (Patent Pending).
Polyurethane 90A Insulation:
For over 15 years, Oscor has been using Polyurethane 90A for its polyurethane
permanent pacing leads. Used with a proprietary manufacturing process, Polyurethane
90A proves to be (like Silicone) highly reliable for long term implantation.
